About Me

I earned my undergraduate degree from New York University and spent my twenties working in film, television, and media before transitioning into mental health.

I completed my MSW at California State University, Long Beach in 2022, preceded by over five years of clinical work with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, unhoused populations, and substance use treatment. I hold post-graduate training in psychodynamic and trauma-focused therapies.

As a Black woman of African American and Afro-Latina heritage, I integrate lived experience with clinical training where it serves the work. I have a particular focus on the Black community and on clients navigating BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ identities; that said, I welcome patients of all backgrounds and identities into my practice.
