My Approach
The first step is to get to know you — your story, your history, the particular shape of what you're carrying. From there, we work together to identify what is causing stress in your life and what you already reach for to cope. This builds something solid between us: a relationship rooted in trust, curiosity, and care.
Gradually, we’ll begin to explore the unconscious patterns, relational histories, and inherited wounds that shape how you move through the world today. We may uncover how your anxiety, depression, and trauma, are entangled with your family of origin, identity, or culture.
Because the depth of this work can unearth difficult material, I weave in practical, body-centered tools grounded in trauma-informed and somatic frameworks. These help to regulate and stabilize us in this process.
While deferring the each client’s subjectivity, I honor the systems, histories, and cultural dynamics that underpin the all of our experiences. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and make space for the myriad ways ethnicity, immigration status, and class show up in the room.
