My Approach
We begin by getting to know each other. From there, we work together to name what is causing you stress, how you cope with it, and what you hope to change. This is the foundation: a relationship rooted in trust and curiosity.
Because this work can surface difficult material, I weave in practical, body-centered tools, grounded in trauma-informed and somatic frameworks, to help us stay regulated and steady as we move through it.
Gradually, we'll begin to explore the unconscious patterns and relational histories that shape how you move through the world today. Often we find that anxiety, depression, and trauma are entangled with your family of origin, your identity, your culture; with histories that began long before you.
I defer to the uniqueness of each person while honoring the systems, histories, and cultural dynamics that underpin all of our experiences. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I make space for the many ways race, ethnicity, gender, immigration status, and class show up, both in the room and outside of it.
